WRITTEN is a typing game designed to test the player's speed, accuracy, and concentration. It includes two main modes: levels and endless mode. In the campaign, the player progresses through increasingly difficult levels, where they must correctly type words before they fall. Each correctly typed word advances the game, while mistakes force the player to repeat the same word without stopping the falling object. Throughout the campaign, additional mechanics are introduced to increase the challenge, such as longer words, visual variations, speed-up, and special levels with increased rewards.

Endless mode offers a continuous experience with no time or level limits. The goal is to achieve the highest possible score while unlocking new words classified by rarity: common, normal, rare, epic, and legendary. Each available language has its own unlock progression and word lists. Therefore, switching between Spanish and English provides two separate progressions.

WRITTEN includes a shop system where the player can unlock cosmetic keyboards using coins earned in endless mode or by completing levels. You can also earn extra coins by viewing optional ads. Some keyboards may be available for purchase in future updates.

The game incorporates banner, interstitial, and incentivized ads, always prioritizing the user experience. Rewarded ads allow you to earn an extra life or additional coins.
