How to Fix and Still Breathtaking. The problem is not with the app but with Android 10 and above. It suck so bad my next phone will be two tin cans and a string. If the app is crashing on start up, either uninstall and reinstall, or go into your system settings, app settings, Star Chart, then Storage. Clear the cache and...storage data. That's a painful step but it works. Permission issues are Android version issues. Jeez, next upgrade, a landline and 5 mile cord.

Used to be a great app. My son and I enjoyed looking at all of the things in the night sky, and then matching it up with our telescope for a closer view. Unfortunately the app has not been able to open in the past year and a half. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times, with different settings, but always the same nonfunctional results. Pixel 5 with Android 12.

Great for identifying constellations, stars, and planets. Much better than the glow in the cards. Edit for latest version. The estimated location is off by thousands of miles, but you cannot fix it. There is only an "OK" button, and the settings page doesn't take city name, state, country, or latitude, longitude in standard format. There is no tutorial for this.
