Daybook AI is a private personal daybook where your calendar, contacts, notes, calls, tasks, birthdays, and promises all revolve around your real life. The calendar is the time axis — the special part is the personal context.

FREE AI THAT LIVES ON YOUR PHONE
The built-in assistant runs entirely on your device — no account, no API key, no cost, and it even works offline. One download and your phone writes your morning brief, understands plain-language commands, and extracts commitments from your notes. Nothing you write ever leaves the device. Prefer a frontier model? Bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google key — requests go directly from your device to your provider, and every AI-written text is labeled with where it ran.

TURN A SCREENSHOT INTO AN EVENT
Someone proposed a meeting in a chat? Scan the screenshot: the text is read on your phone, every date and time is found, and when a conversation mentions several slots, you pick the right one — then confirm. The image never leaves your device.

YOUR CALENDAR, EVERY ACCOUNT
Daybook works directly on the calendars already on your device — Google, Samsung, Outlook, or local. Month, week, day, and list views with smooth drag-and-drop rescheduling and swipe navigation, built for phones, foldables, and tablets. On foldables, the cover screen gets a true phone layout and the inner screen gets a two-pane view — instantly, when you fold or unfold. Hide any calendar group and it disappears from every view — and from everything the AI reads. A sync badge appears whenever an event hasn't reached your calendar server yet — one tap pushes it to Google immediately.

A DAYBOOK THAT REMEMBERS PEOPLE
Your contacts become people, not entries: birthdays and anniversaries appear on your calendar automatically, every person has a timeline of calls, notes, and shared events, and Daybook gently reminds you when you have not been in touch. Drag a person onto a day to plan time together.

PROMISES, TRACKED UNTIL KEPT
“I will send it by Friday.” Daybook detects commitments in your call notes, asks you to confirm them, and tracks each promise until it is kept — surfacing them on your Today page before they slip.

Every morning: an AI brief, day-at-a-glance AM/PM clock faces with your events drawn as colored arcs, tappable week-load bars, travel-buffer warnings between venues, birthdays coming up with nothing planned, tasks due, and unresolved promises — before you ask.

“Lunch with Bob tomorrow 12pm.” “Move dentist to Friday 2pm.” Daybook previews exactly what will change, applies it only when you confirm, and every change can be undone.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No server. No analytics. Your data stays in your device’s own calendar and contacts stores, AI runs on your own silicon by default, and API keys (if you add any) are stored in the Android Keystore.

Daybook AI: less “another calendar app,” more a personal chief of staff that happens to have an excellent calendar.

The calendar now opens on today: the agenda below the month starts at the current date with today highlighted, instead of jumping to the 1st of the month.
