About this app

CyclePay is the new app name. Previously known as "My Laundry" and "CyberLaundry".

IMPORTANT: ONLY WORKS IN PARTICIPATING LAUNDRY LOCATIONS.

You can view your account balance, add funds and start cycles on washers and dryers in your laundry room. You can also view real-time machine status and send service requests if needed.

every time I am forced to use this app to do laundry I have a problem. either It doesn't recognize the machine, double charges for money, or doesn't recognize my card info. it adds 10 mins to each trip to wash/dry but I'm stuck using it bc they removed the option for quarters. if I'm being forced by the hoa to use an app, the least you could do is make the experience slightly better than nails down a chalkboard.

It's more convenient than cash. Other than that it's pretty awful. Hardly ever connects, and when it does it's painfully slow. Requires you to process the transaction multiple times in order to get the desired time on the machines. Should allow you to just set 40 minutes for example instead of having to press 10 minutes 4 times. App was very likely built by someone overseas with no regard for user experience.

As others have said, there are constant issues connecting to the machine(s) (literally resting my arms on the machine I'm trying to fund). My BIGGEST issue is the money that goes missing from my account (in addition to getting charged without a cycle running). It's usually small amounts ($0.25 - $0.75), but it adds up and it's theft. Compounding this issue is the fact I'm not able to see anything beyond the ~30 most recent charges to get the total amount that's been stolen.
