No way to fix your account name if it was misspelled in the app but it can be done on the website. "Contact Carta Support" link opens email client with a blank "to" field so can't get help using it. Support phone number can be found when you select "customer support pin" which is not intuitive. Called support and it was a short wait and they were very helpful. The app allows you to simulate exercising your options which helps a lot with understanding how options work.

Old technology. In the year 2023 you can buy a home without sending letters, but with Carta, you'll need to physically sign and go to the post office, it's crazy. DocuSign has been around long enough for most companies to implement during Covid. However, this app still clings to snail mail and will send you documents that require physical responses within 3 days. I would not recommend this company/app.

Terrible experience with Carta. I exercised two orders and wired funds internationally. I was never informed the funds were insufficient—no warnings or reminders. I only found out when my company canceled one order. I reached out right away but didn’t hear back for a month. When I finally got through, it was too late. Awful communication and zero accountability.
