Zap is a universal TV remote control for your phone: it turns the phone into the remote for your LG, Samsung, Android TV or Google TV set, over Wi-Fi. No infrared blaster, no line of sight, nothing to aim — and it is the one remote nobody loses down the side of the sofa.
📺 REMOTE FOR LG TV (webOS)
Pair with webOS in one step and you get the whole LG remote: power, volume, a full D-pad with OK and Back, channel buttons, a keyboard for typing into search boxes, voice search, and a touchpad pointer for pushing the cursor around the LG home screen — the same pointer the Magic Remote gives you. If the LG remote is lost or its batteries have died, this LG TV remote app is a straight replacement.
📺 REMOTE FOR SAMSUNG TV (Tizen)
A Samsung TV remote for Tizen sets: power, volume and mute, the D-pad, channel buttons, the number pad, a keyboard and voice search, and one-tap app launching. Accept the prompt on the television once and Zap remembers the set for next time.
📺 REMOTE FOR ANDROID TV AND GOOGLE TV
Pair with the code on screen and this becomes an Android TV remote and a Google TV remote: D-pad and OK, volume, channel buttons, media keys and one-tap app launching. It covers many Sony, TCL, Philips, Xiaomi, Nokia and JVC sets, plus Chromecast with Google TV. Text entry and voice are not available on this platform — Android TV does not accept them from a remote app — so the D-pad and the app shortcuts are what you get.

Does this TV remote need an IR blaster? No. Zap works over Wi-Fi, so it also works from the next room.
