About this app

Maiden is Ethiopia's verified marketplace for domestic work — where households
hire with confidence and workers are treated as the professionals they are.

TRUSTED HANDS, KNOWN BY NAME
Domestic work has always run on word of mouth: unverified strangers, haggled
wages, and no paperwork when things go wrong. Maiden replaces that handshake
with a chain of trust.

✓ EVERY WORKER VERIFIED
Every worker on Maiden is confirmed against her Fayda National ID before her
profile goes live. No anonymous listings — ever.

✓ FAIR, TRANSPARENT PAY
A transparent trust score — built from skills, experience, languages and real
ratings — sets an honest salary tier. No haggling, no guesswork.

✓ REAL SIGNED CONTRACTS
Every placement generates a formal placement agreement (PDF) that both sides
can view any time. For many workers, it is the first written contract of
their career.

✓ RATINGS THAT GO BOTH WAYS
After every placement, households and workers rate each other. Accountability
flows in both directions and keeps the market honest.
