I read a lot of novels and light novels, and I use text-to-speech (TTS) apps every day to listen to them. I tried many different options, but most of them had too many ads, were slow, or lacked important features. That's why I decided to create my own app.
Over time, I made the application have:
- A clean experience with only a discreet banner at the bottom—no intrusive ads interrupting your reading. You can also remove ads for quite a long time by watching a single video.
- Fast opening of PDF files, EPUBs, and text copied from the clipboard.
- Support for your preferred TTS engine and voices.
- Read aloud in multiple languages using the TTS voices installed on your device, with the interface available in English and Spanish.
- Sentence-by-sentence navigation, so you can easily jump to exactly where you want.
- Adjustable speech rate, pitch, and voice to match your listening preferences.
- Four reading modes: Linear, Focused, Centered, and Immersive. Personally, Immersive mode is my favorite for long reading sessions.
- Bookmarks (New), so you can save and quickly return to your favorite passages.
- Customizable text size, colors, opacity, and dark mode for a more comfortable reading experience.
- Everything runs locally on your device—no account required, no data uploaded, and your privacy is respected.
- You can send your suggestions and feedback directly from the app to help make it even better.
I hope this becomes your favorite TTS reader too.
