CAPTURE IT HOWEVER THE MOMENT ALLOWS

• Speak it — voice to text dictation turns what you say into a note you can read, not audio you will never play back.
• Type it — a plain notepad for the meeting, the ward round, the shop counter, the train. Anywhere talking out loud is not an option.
• Both — start a note by talking and finish it with the keyboard. Same note, same field.
• Save it from another app — highlight a line anywhere on your phone and tap "Add note", or share a link straight into MatiNotes.

Voice notes are easy to make and impossible to search. Every note here is text, so:

• Search every word of every note, and get there in seconds.
• Tags add themselves as you write, so a note is filed before you close it.
• Say "tag it work and urgent" while dictating, or type #urgent inline.
• Filter to one tag, and keep that filter on your home screen as a widget.

REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY INTERRUPT

Attach a time to any note and it takes over the screen when it fires. Made for the callback you
promised on Thursday, not for a badge you will swipe away. Notes with reminders sit in the same list as
everything else.

TWO TAPS FROM ANYWHERE

The home-screen widget has one button to start talking and one to start typing, so the app opens
already in the mode you need. Your most recent note is right there on the widget to add to.

ONE NOTE THAT KEEPS GROWING

Append to a note you already have instead of starting another one. The running list for a client,
a shift, a trip — dictate into it on Monday, add two lines on Thursday, and it is still one note.

KEEP THE TAGS FROM GETTING MESSY

Tags pile up: "client" and "clients", "followup" and "follow-up". Manage Tags renames a tag across
every note at once, merges two tags into one, and points out the pairs that look like the same tag
typed twice.

NO ACCOUNT. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE.

There is no sign-up, because there is no server. Your notes sit on your device. Back them all up
to a file you choose and restore it whenever you want, and send any single note out to WhatsApp,
email or anywhere else with Share. Nothing to subscribe to, no profile to fill in before your
first note.

Is this a voice recorder?
No. It is a speech to text notepad. You get words you can search, not an audio file you have to
sit through.

Can I use it as a plain notes app?
Yes. Plenty of people never press the microphone. It is a quick notes app first; voice typing is one
way in, not the only one.

Do I need an account?
No. No sign-up, no email address, no profile — notes without an account, kept on your phone.

Does it work offline?
Your notes, your search and your tags do, because they are all on the device. Dictation uses your
phone's own speech recognition, which on many phones needs a network or a downloaded language
pack. Typing always works.

Is it free?
Yes, with ads. One optional one-time purchase removes them. There is no subscription, and no note
you have taken is ever locked behind a payment.

MatiNotes is not a meeting transcriber, it does not sync across devices, and it does not want your
email address. It writes down what you tell it, and it hands it back when you go looking.

Great App--I use this regularly it works great...I see you updated it, since the update I am not able to use the search feature which I use periodically, can you fix this..thanks for the fix...I have to really thank you the more I use this since you updated it...it's wonderful to use..search works great thanks.....okay you added "tags" on the bottom..they literally are making it hard to see the screen when typing a note...
