Is your WiFi signal weak in every room of your house? NetOptima Home helps you understand why and find the best place to install your ONU or router, without needing to take measurements or have any technical knowledge.

The app simulates how the WiFi signal spreads throughout your home using your floor plan and shows you the result as an easy-to-interpret heat map: green where the signal is good, red and gray where it's weak.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Upload your home's floor plan by taking a photo or choosing an image from your gallery.

2. The app automatically detects the walls in the floor plan.

3. Review the walls and adjust the material and thickness of each one.

4. Indicate where your router is located, or let the app recommend the best location.

5. Get a heat map of your home's coverage.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Automatic wall detection from the floor plan image.

• Five building materials: concrete, brick, plaster, wood, and glass, each with adjustable thickness.

• Simulation on both bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

• Priority zones: Mark the rooms where you need the most signal (bedroom, living room, office) so the recommendation takes them into account.

• PDF report with a summary of the simulation, ready to save or share.

WORKS OFFLINE

NetOptima Home performs all calculations on your phone. It doesn't need an internet connection to work and doesn't send your floor plan or any other information outside the device. Registration and account creation are also not required.

TECHNICAL BASIS

The simulation uses the COST 231 Multi-Wall indoor propagation model, widely documented in telecommunications literature, with a correction based on the angle at which the signal passes through each wall. Wall detection relies on computer vision techniques.

For anyone who wants to improve the WiFi coverage in their home or apartment before deciding where to install the equipment, and also for installation technicians who need a quick and visual reference.

The results are an approximate estimate calculated from the information you enter. Actual coverage may vary depending on the building's construction, furnishings, neighboring equipment, and the specific characteristics of your router.
