About this app

GlobeARound to Earth is an Augmented Reality app for navigating the Tecnodidattica Globe through your Smartphone and discovering many interactive and multimedia contents relating to the geography of our planet Earth.
By framing the sphere of the globe with the camera of your device, it is possible to superimpose animals, plants and important geographical sites in 3D.
With a simple touch of the finger you can select and interactively view the individual elements, rotate and enlarge them, listen to sounds and descriptions, view images and in-depth information sheets.
They are contained in the app:

- 88 3D models of animals and plants,
- 10 3d models of dinosaurs
- 36 3d models of buildings and important geographical sites

- 134 descriptive text files
- 134 audio "pills" with details and curiosities

In addition to the navigation mode in Augmented Reality, the interactive contents can also be used through a simple 3D interactive interface, with just a few taps of the fingers.

How does it work:

- Download the GlobeAR App via QR Code or link to the Online Store;

In AR mode:

- Frame the globe and choose the continent to study;
- Choose the type of content (animals, dinosaurs, buildings/sites);
- Tap to download the 3d models;
- View models in Augmented Reality on the globe;
- Tap to select a single model, view it interactively and read or listen to the insights.

In 3d mode:

- Using the 3d interface, choose the continent to study;
- Proceed as in the AR version.

All the contents in the App are original from Tecnodidattica: there are no links to external sites or advertising.
