Every charge, on the books.

EV-BOY Connect logs your charging for you. Plug in like you always do: the app reads your Tesla over Bluetooth and records the energy (kWh) and cost of every charge. Nothing to type, no account, no Tesla login, and your history stays on your own phone.

■ Charging costs, logged automatically
• When you're back at the car, the app reads it and logs the energy and cost. Home or public, AC or DC.
• No receipts to photograph, nothing to write down.

■ Public charging, priced for you
• At a public station in Hong Kong, the app matches the station and operator and prices the charge from its published rate at the time. Several stations close together? Pick the one you used.

■ Home charging, just as precise
• Enter your home electricity rate once and every home charge is priced on your phone, with no lookup.
• Got a bill? Key in the exact amount and the charge is marked as reconciled.

■ Every charge, itemised
• Records by month, filtered by car, home or public. Pending and reconciled statuses show what still needs a look.
• Each charge has a detail page: battery from and to, duration, AC or DC, energy added, charger meter reading and cost.
• Missed one? Add it yourself.
• Two cars at home? Keep each one separate, or view them together.

■ Your month at a glance
• Monthly spend, total kWh, number of charges and average cost per kWh, with a daily chart and the home / public split.
• What each operator charged, and how far each kWh takes you.
• This month, last month, 3 or 6 months, or this year. Export a CSV for expense claims.

■ A read-only car key. It reads the numbers and leaves the car to you.
The app adds a read-only car key and reads only charging and battery (for kWh and cost), the car's location (to recognise the charger) and the odometer (for km per kWh). The key can't lock or unlock, drive, turn on the climate, start or stop charging, or change any setting. If the car is asleep, the app wakes it briefly, only to read.

■ Your records stay on your phone
• No sign-up, no sign-in. We don't know who you are unless you email us.
• Charging history, VIN, home rate and car key stay on your phone and are never sent to us.
• Phone location is never used. Your car reports where it charged.
• A public price lookup sends only location, start time, charging type and power, encrypted. Never your VIN or anything that identifies you.
• No ads, no advertising ID, no tracking. Only anonymous usage statistics, to see which features are used.
• Clear your records any time in Settings.

■ Three steps to set up. Then it runs itself.
1. Paste your VIN (the app shows how to copy it from the Tesla app).
2. In the car, place your key card on the reader and tap Confirm on the screen.
3. Add your home rate. Every charge from now on is logged automatically.

■ Supported cars and devices
• Cars: Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X
• Android phones and tablets (Android 12 or later), with a wide layout on tablets and unfolded foldables
• No in-app purchases and no subscription
• Currently supports Tesla cars in Hong Kong only. Elsewhere, charges are still logged automatically but can't be matched to a charging station.
• Tip: set the app's battery usage to Unrestricted so charges log in the background.
