About this app

Charging with synergEV is simple, secure, and reliable. We provide a feature-rich cloud-based software platform for managing electric vehicle charging stations, their interaction with utilities and the driver experience.

The synergEV App uses location-based services to allow drivers to easily find, access, and securely pay for EV charging. Drivers can search for and locate electric vehicle charging stations based on location, station ID, availability, power level provided, and accessibility.

Start charge sessions simply by scanning QR codes or entering the desired station ID in the app.

With the synergEV electric vehicle charging app, you can also:


• Monitor your current charge sessions in real-time
• Get phone notifications as soon as your EV is finished charging
• Make secure payments
• Favorite locations that have easy access to your commonly used EV charging stations
• Receive an email receipt of your EV charging transactions
• View a history of past charging sessions
• Report drivers that abuse charging station use

Ratings and reviews

This app & charger worked great for us. A unique positive is the fact charging could be stopped and restarted without establishing a new session. I stopped charging at 95% to avoid sitting overnight at 100% and restarted charging in the morning to add more charge & no idling fees (9am-6pm). The inability to use PayPal or Google wallet was a minor issue. The CC payment option needs refinement.

#2 port does not work for my car. I must use port 1.

Nearby courtyard marriot chargers used to use EV Connect app and stickers were replaced with this app with no reviews. I tried anyway, google pay and paypal dont work, and seems sketchy to add my CC to the app. Not sure if its legit, why would the company swap out a different app that looks the same with same features, but third party payments dont work. Sketchy.
