OrderFlow is Event Four You's service app: the one staff uses during the event.
It's not an app for the public. Accounts are created by the venue manager and are valid for one event at a time: what you see depends on your role for that event.
WAITER
· The tables in the dining room, with how many people arrived and how many waits
· The order at the table: catalog, cart, and dispatch to the galley
· The status of your orders, from collection to service
GALLERY
· The queue of incoming orders, with how long they've been waiting
· Line-by-line progress: in preparation, ready, served
· Sold-out products, which immediately disappear from the waiters' catalog
ARRIVALS
· Who has arrived at the tables, noted with a tap
· The error is canceled: a wrong arrival doesn't remain there all evening
MANAGEMENT
· The table bill: expected amount, consumed, collected, and residual
· Cash or POS collections, with a refund for mistakes
· Approval of table reservations
HOW IT'S DONE
The prices come from the restaurant's price list and are calculated by the server: the app doesn't reinvent the wheel, so the total at the end of the evening matches the cashier's total. The galley queue and waiter orders update automatically every 15 seconds, without having to scroll down the list.
You need an internet connection and a service account assigned to an event. To obtain one, contact the venue manager.
