The Governor’s Office of African-American Affairs was established under A.R.S. §§ 41-531 through 41-534 and is charged with advising the Governor on policies affecting African-American communities, strengthening collaboration across agencies, and supporting community engagement and strategic initiatives statewide. GOAAA works to advance equity, opportunity, and sustainable progress for African-American residents throughout Arizona.
