Evergy Customers will be able to pay their bill, view their bill, report outages, view their Energy Usage, and edit their account profile preferences and notifications. This App will provide an effortless transactional experience whenever customers need to pay their utility bill, report an electrical outage or update how they wish interact with Evergy.

The app requires a second factor to get in, which is a good security design decision. Evergy emails a code to your email associated with the login. This requires opening email. opening it on the phone requires switching applications, which is easy on Android. But this app seems to vanish when switching away from it. Pressing the icon to load the app starts over. The code in the clipboard is now useless. The loop begins again. As a software engineering leader this is a huge design miss.

The login on this app is impossible!! And if you select forgot password, it sends a code to your email but once you go to your email the login screen to enter the code is gone!! I always end up having to do what I need on the website instead. But, after you try logging in on the app, guess what... now all of a sudden your credentials are invalid on the website and you have no access at all! I have lost count how many times I have had to uninstall and reinstall this app and still no success.

It is impossible to log in. If you attempt to recover you password and receives a code, the log in screen disappears, making it impossible to recover the log in process. I experience this on website and the app. Especially, after attempting to log in on the app, then the website does the same thing. Evergy, you need to fix this online issue with the app and website. I never had any issues until recently this year. Very disappointing!
