GPS Invasive and Pest Control, developed by Evinerude, helps to effectively combat ragweed, a problem we all have a role to play.

Ragweed is a highly allergenic plant native to the Americas. Its pollen currently poses a public health risk. Each plant can produce up to 3,000 seeds, so it reproduces rapidly and colonizes many habitats. It is important to learn to identify it and monitor its spread across the region.

This application allows for a thorough and quick assessment of the situation:

- Take a photo to verify that it is indeed the target species
- Identify the infested area or linear features at a few points
- Data on density/environment type/treatment type for analyzing the evolution of infestations and the measures implemented near you
- Locate the area using aerial photos and maps, with the option to work remotely, and view the map even offline after the initial connection
- All mapping and descriptive data are within the application: no more paper records are needed
- Data can be saved from one year to the next
