ExamLock Student secures your device during exams so you can focus on what matters — your exam/test. Simply scan a QR code or tap an NFC tag to check in, and your phone locks automatically until the exam ends.

Quick Check-In
Scan your teacher's QR code or tap an NFC tag to instantly register and check into your exam session. No account or password needed — just your student number.

Student ID Card Scan
Use your camera to scan your student ID card. Built-in text recognition reads your student number automatically.

Automatic Phone Lock
Your device is locked to the ExamLock app during the exam. A fullscreen overlay prevents access to other apps, and a background service monitors for exit attempts.

Live Countdown Timer
See your remaining exam time on screen at all times. Check-in phase and active exam phase are clearly distinguished.

Temporary Unlock
Your teacher can remotely unlock your phone temporarily if needed during the exam, then re-lock when ready.

Offline Support
If you lose connectivity during an exam, the app continues to enforce the lock. Any violation reports are queued locally and uploaded when connectivity returns.

Privacy-First
No personal information required. You are identified only by your student number. Your device ID is hashed locally and never shared in raw form.

No Account Required
No email, no password, no sign-up. Just enter your student number and you're ready to go.
