Exy is the field app for inspecting explosion-protected (Ex) electrical equipment in hazardous areas, following IEC 60079-17.

INSPECT AS YOU GO
• Walk the plant area by area; every item gets the checkpoints its protection type and inspection grade call for (Visual, Close, Detailed).
• Answer each checkpoint, add comments and photos on the spot.
• If you allow location, Exy records where each item was inspected.

READ NAMEPLATES WITH AI
• Photograph an equipment nameplate and Exy fills in the Ex marking, protection type, EPL, gas and dust group, temperature class, maximum ambient temperature and IP rating.
• Check what was read and fix anything before you save.

CATCH MISMATCHES
• Exy compares each item with its area's classification (Zone, gas or dust group, temperature class, ambient, IP) and marks in red anything that doesn't suit it — with a count you see without opening the details.

REPORT BY EMAIL
• Submit an inspection and receive a clear PDF report by email: summary of findings, contents by area, every item with its specs, photos and checklist.
