Your data is encrypted on your device, and the app works fully offline. No account needed to start. Want backup and multi-device sync? Turn on an optional lightweight account. Check your spending on a laptop by scanning a QR code — nothing to install.

All of it stays off until you switch it on. When enabled, AI features send your message text or images for server-side processing.

Microphone, camera and photo permissions are optional — they're only used for voice logging and receipt scanning, and the app works fully without them.
