Recruitment notification of Agniveer 2024 has been released under Agneepath Scheme. Thousands of youth are applying to become Agniveer, but the Indian Army has changed the recruitment process.

What is the exam syllabus?
Agniveer has separate exam syllabus for general duty, clerk and technical posts.

In the General Duty Examination, 15 questions from General Knowledge, 20 from General Science and 15 from Mathematics will be asked.
For technical posts, 10 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, 15 from Mathematics, 15 from Physics and 10 from Chemistry.
In the clerk post examination, five questions will be asked from General Knowledge, five from General Science, 10 from Mathematics, five from Computer Science and 25 questions from English.

50 questions will be asked in the written examination of Agniveer. For this, read the syllabus carefully. Prepare by reading the section from which questions will have higher marks. Practice by solving model papers. Pay special attention to general knowledge.

How many marks are needed to pass?
The exam for general duty and technical posts will be of 100 marks. There will be two marks for correct answer and half mark for wrong answer.
To pass the general duty examination, it is mandatory to score 32 marks, whereas to pass the technical examination, 40 marks will be required.
Clerk exam will be of 200 marks. Four marks will be awarded for the correct answer and one mark will be given for the wrong answer. The passing marks will be 80.

Will have to run in physical test
In the physical test, under Group-1, you will have to run 1.6 kilometers in 5.30 minutes and will get 60 marks. Apart from this, you will get 40 points for doing 10 pull ups.
For Group-2 posts, youth will have to run 1.6 kilometers in 5.45 minutes and do 9 pull ups. You will get 33 marks for this. The youth will also have to jump 9 feet long.
Similarly, Zig Zag Balance Test will also have to be passed.

Preparation for physical test
To pass the physical test, pay attention to the body. Go for a run every day. Set a timer and run. Practice high jumps, pull ups. Pay attention to diet along with exercise. Eat home cooked food and consume high protein foods.

Educational and physical qualifications?
10th and 12th pass youth can apply for various posts of Agniveer. The entire country has been divided into six regions for Agniveer recruitment.
The height criteria in Agniveer General Duty and Technical Recruitment are different for the youth of these areas.

For Agniveer general duty, the height required is between 163 cm to 170 cm. For the youth of all states, the chest standard has been kept at 77 centimeters and weight at 50 kilograms.
