About this app

DPIP (Disaster Prevention Information Platform) is an app designed by a local Taiwanese team. It integrates real-time strong earthquake alerts and earthquake information from TREM (Taiwan Real-Time Earthquake Monitoring Network) with data from the Central Weather Bureau, providing a unified, convenient disaster prevention information application.

※ The application is currently in testing, and some information or functions may contain errors. We apologize for any inconvenience. We welcome you to join the public beta to obtain the latest test version.

Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) uses seismic wave observation stations deployed in various locations to transmit measured seismic waves back to the server for calculation and to generate an earthquake early warning, giving you seconds or even tens of seconds to take disaster prevention and evacuation measures.

Ratings and reviews

With the new update the app has been radically changed, and for the worse. I cannot find earthquake and weather warnings on the app even after notifications. Basically this app has become useless.

改版之後覺得沒有以前好用，以前只要打開app，就可以知道當下有無地震，可是現在打開首頁，即使已經設定顯示地震監視器，依舊會顯示雷達回波圖。一開始載這個app就是為了看準確的地震即時通知，可以一打開立即知曉地震資訊真的很棒，而且比其他app的通知還快又準確，現在感覺比較著重在顯示天氣方面的內容，那其實可以回去看中央氣象局的app就可以了，那裡還可以看到一整週的天氣預測，小小的難過 🥲
