Found is for the moment you see a place in a reel and think "I want to go there" — and don't want to screenshot it, forget the name, and never find it again.
Share a reel to Found and it listens for the restaurants, cafés, viewpoints and shops mentioned in the caption and the spoken words, finds each one, and pins it in Google Maps. You can keep scrolling, and you'll get a notification when it's done — tap it and you're looking at the place, ready to save or navigate.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST SHARE
Open Found once: sign in with your Google account and allow notifications when it asks. That's the whole setup.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Watching a reel about somewhere you want to go? Tap Share and choose Found.
2. Keep scrolling. Found works in the background and notifies you when the places are ready.
3. Tap the notification to open the place in Google Maps.
Every place Found pins is also kept in the app, grouped by city, so a week of saved reels turns into a list you can plan a trip from. Swipe to remove anything you don't want.
WHAT FOUND SAVES
• The place name, city and address, plus a link to it in Google Maps.
• Nothing else. Found doesn't store the video, and it doesn't keep your reels.
PRIVACY
• Sign in with your Google account. That's the only account it needs.
• No ads, no tracking for advertising.
• Delete your account and everything with it from inside the app at any time.
Found works with reels you share from Instagram. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram, Meta, or Google Maps.
Share a reel. Every place it mentions, pinned in Google Maps.
