About this app

Bizzy is a parental control app designed for parents to monitor their children's Android devices. The parent installs the app, connects the child's device to their account, and views the reports from their own phone.

LOCATION TRACKING
• The child's device's GPS location is read in the background approximately every 3 minutes and written to the parent's account. This works even when the app is closed and the screen is off. • The parent sees their child's current location on the map and when the location was last updated. • Places like home, school, and parks are defined as "safe zones" with a radius on the map. The parent receives a notification when the child enters or leaves the zone.
• If tracking is interrupted (phone turned off, permission revoked, app stopped), the parent receives an alert and knows how long the interruption lasted. • Background location collection requires "Always allow" location permission and exemption from battery optimization.

SCREEN TIME MONITORING
• The amount of time spent on each app on the child's device is measured with Android's access to usage data permission. • Parents see daily and weekly screen time reports on an app-by-app basis. Records are stored for 30 days. • Parents set daily screen time limits; they receive notifications when the limit is exceeded. • If the phone is shared, each app can be labeled as "child" or "parent". Time spent on parent apps is not included in the child's report; who is currently using the device can be manually changed using the button in the notification.

CHILD KNOWS THEY ARE BEING MONITORED — NO HIDDEN OPERATION
• Bizzy is a normal app: its icon is visible, it is not hidden from the app list, and it does not disguise itself as another app. • A persistent notification remains on the device as long as the monitoring is running. The notification title is always "Bizzy is monitoring your child"; the line below shows who the device is currently registered to. If the notification is swiped away, it automatically reappears. • If the notification is completely turned off, the parent is notified. • Because the Bizzy character appears on the screen while the child is using the device, it is also noticeable that monitoring is active. • Bizzy is only for parents to monitor their own child. Cannot be used to track a spouse, friend, employee, or other adult.

BIZZY CHARACTER AND HABIT ANIMATIONS
• The cute Bizzy character appears on the screen when the child is using their own application; it automatically hides when a parent's application is opened. • Parents select achievements from categories such as nutrition, health, sleep, physical activity, education, and emotional development, and define daily/time reminders for these. Bizzy animations provide reminders when the time comes.

AI-POWERED FAIRY TALES
• Personalized audio fairy tales are generated based on the parent's chosen topic and the child's age. • Created fairy tales are saved in the history, can be added to favorites, and listened to again. • Fairy tale creation rights are purchased as a package within the application.

DATA COLLECTED
Bizzy collects data to function:
• Location (exact and approximate) — for map and safe zone alerts
• App usage data (which app, for how long) — for screen time reports
• List of apps installed on the device — to match usage with the correct app
• Account information (name, email) and purchase history

This data is only written to the parent's own account; it is not shared with third parties, nor is it used for advertising or profiling purposes. Communication is encrypted. The parent can delete their account and data from within the app. The parent section is protected with a PIN.

REQUIRED PERMISSIONS
Access to location (including background), usage data, display over other apps, notifications, starting on device startup, and exemption from battery optimization. Each permission is requested with a description of which feature it is needed for; if permission is not granted, only the relevant feature will not work.
