Fabora puts 27 fabrication and welding tools in one app: steel and metal weight, weld settings and a weld fault finder, a rebar calculator, fixed ladder and ship ladder design, stair stringers, steel and lifting beams, tank volume and pipe offsets. Built for welders, fabricators and metal workers. The calculators work offline, no account needed.

Pro is a monthly or annual subscription through Google Play, starting with a 7-day free trial. It unlocks the other 17 tools, plus rebar cut and bend and tank sizing. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; manage or cancel any time in Google Play.

Weld, duty cycle and gas figures are starting points. Beam, lifting beam, ladder and rebar results are planning checks, not a certificate. A ladder that "passes selected checks" passed the checks the tool runs. Confirm with a competent person or engineer where required.

Brilliant app for anyone who deals with fabrication, we've been using it for a while, paid for it from the start and would recommend it anyone!

Just picked this up but seems like it could be an extremely useful resource. I'm liking the layout.

What’s new

Save now asks for a name, and saved work opens again from Jobs with every field as you left it (19 tools). Stock Cutting (Pro) takes feet and inches (20' 6 1/2) with an ft key, and the cut plan PDF is the main button. Lifting beam (Pro): 2 to 6 bottom lugs; pipe and round tube are checked at their own yield. The app is now in Arabic. Fixed Ladder (Pro): your rung layout is saved with the job. Plus smaller fixes.
