About this app

The official Rust companion app from Facepunch Studios – stay connected to the game so you never miss an important moment again. Coordinate with your team, receive alerts when you’re being raided, remotely set off traps, and more!

Requires the Rust game - available on PC and macOS. Rust Console Edition is not supported at this time.

PAIR WITH YOUR SERVERS
Pair with your favorite Rust servers to receive real-time updates for the things that matter the most: player counts, current game time, online teammates, and more. You’ll also get (optional) push notifications whenever one of your teammates joins the game.

EXPLORE THE MAP
View the full server map to find points of interest, see where your teammates are and check on vending machines. You can also track ongoing events like the attack helicopter and cargo ship.

KEEP UP WITH YOUR TEAM
Communicate with your team from anywhere to just catch up or plan for your next raid. Messages are visible in both the app and the in-game team chat so you can seamlessly switch between the two.

CONTROL YOUR IN-GAME DEVICES
Connect Smart Switches and Smart Alarms to your in-game electrical contraptions and pair them with Rust+ to control them remotely at any time. Smart Switches let you turn things on or off, and Smart Alarms send customizable push notification alerts when an electrical signal is detected.

GET THE LATEST RUST NEWS
Get notified about new Rust blogs and news so you can stay on top of the latest updates, or catch up on older blogs you may have missed.

Love the concept and remote access available when it's working. Have great internet access and have it paired to both of my main servers I play on. When initially setting the app up to be paired to the server it works. After that every time I try to select a paired server it just shows a loading icon. Tried to exit the app and come back in, uninstalled app, re-paired servers but still not working. Not sure what else to do or where to go from here. Was so stoked about it to be disappointed.

Hi, sorry about that. Can you update to version 0.0.13 on the Play Store and try again? We fixed a bunch of server issues a few hours ago and everything should be stable now. Thanks

A fantastic job. Simple, minimalistic, and with base functionality that just works with any Rust server that has app.notifications enabled. Now I finally have a reason to actually use my $1,000.00 smartphone. Suggestions: 1) Map: Implement "double tap to auto-zoom" AND "double tap and swipe up and down" to zoom with a single finger instead of having to use two fingers / contact points. Basically what Google Maps and Gallery apps can do. 2) General: Implement 19:9 and 21:9 aspect ratio display support if feasible to maximize the screen space afforded to users of smartphones such as the Galaxy Note 10 series. Currently the bottom button bar has a buffer of space below it that could be used to bring the button bar down for more map space. I'll keep this updated as the app progresses.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! We'll definitely keep improving the map. The gap at the bottom of the screen is a known issue for Android devices with a notch or screen cutout - we're investigating this and will hopefully have a fix soon!

It's a great app for keeping a map open and seeing how many people are on as well as finding your teammates, only problem is that if the server wipes or restarts you have to repair with the server and it just makes it hard to check your team when you can't even connect to the server even though you've already paired with it. Also for some reason now on any of my servers it no longer shows any locked crates or helis, they just no longer show up anymore. Idk if it's the server or the app.
