About this app
Learn English, Spanish or French by reading real stories, with your own language on the facing page.
Facing Pages opens like a book: the story in the language you're learning on one page, the same story in your language on the other, matched sentence by sentence. Tap any sentence and its partner lights up across the page. Tap a word to see what it means right there, and save it for later.
MADE FOR FOLDABLES, GREAT ON ANY PHONE
On a Galaxy Z Fold, Pixel Fold or tablet, the two languages sit side by side like an open book. On any other phone, tap a sentence to see its translation.
228 ORIGINAL STORIES
• English, Spanish and French, from beginner to advanced
• Series you read in order, episode by episode
• Set across Mexico, Spain, Argentina, France, Quebec, the UK and more
• A photograph with every story
• New stories added regularly
LEARN AS YOU READ
• Tap a word for what it means in that sentence, not just a dictionary guess
• Save words to your own list
• Listen: every sentence read aloud and highlighted as it goes
• Bookmarks, and it remembers where you stopped
YOUR LANGUAGE ON THE FACING PAGE
Spanish and French stories come with our own English translations. You can also read them alongside dozens of other languages, translated right on your phone: private, and offline after a one-time download.
FREE TO START
The first episode of every series and a selection of stories at every level are free. Facing Pages Premium unlocks every story with a monthly subscription. Cancel anytime in Google Play.
