The Fading Lexicon is a free mobile online RPG that turns learning English into an epic global war.
The world of knowledge is being consumed by the "Void of Silence" - a hostile force that erases words, memory and history. You are one of the Scribes of the Concordat, an ancient order immune to this threat. You are the last line of defense of the world, and your weapon is knowledge.
Use English words as powerful spells in turn-based battles. Knowledge and accuracy determine the strength of your spell, pass levels of locations, close portals of Evil, receive rewards. Joint efforts on the global map will help cleanse the world of the Void of Silence seeping from the rifts.

Use thematic "Spell Books" (dictionaries) to learn new words.
The built-in spaced repetition system helps consolidate knowledge.
Level up, upgrade your stats, and gain access to more complex Spellbooks and locations on the global map.
