About this game

Some objects look oddly like countries.

A leaf might look like Sri Lanka, a crumpled T-shirt might look like Australia, and the side of a mug might be close enough to Italy if you rotate it a little.

Two ways to play

• Game mode: Get a country outline and photograph an object that matches it as closely as possible.

• Explore mode: Capture any object and see its three closest country matches.

Trace and compare shapes

• Tap- and brush-guided object selection, with Add and Erase controls.

• Matching against 200 simplified country outlines.

• Automatic rotation and mirroring during shape comparison.

• A similarity score and outline overlay for the target and each close match.

• Saved finds that retain the photo, object outline, country outlines, alignment, and scores.

Private and offline

• Processing happens locally on your device.

• No account, photo upload, or internet permission.

Contour Quest is here! Get a country outline and hunt for a matching object, or photograph any object to discover its closest country shapes. Refine the selection with Add and Erase, compare the top three matches, and save your favourite finds. Rotation and mirroring are handled automatically, and all photo processing stays on your device.
