Hangman Duel is a modern take on hangman, the classic word guessing game. Reveal the hidden word one letter at a time — six wrong guesses and the scene runs out. Play solo offline, solve the global daily word puzzle, or duel a live opponent in real time.
🎮 FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
Single Player — Offline hangman, no wifi needed. Pick from 9 word categories (Animals, Food, Home, Nature, City, Family, Body, Sport, Abstract) or choose Mixed. Word lists ship inside the app, so solo play works with no signal.
Online 1v1 — A real word duel, not a shared score screen. You choose the word your opponent must guess, then they choose yours. Two rounds, roles swapped, 20 seconds to pick and 30 seconds per guessing turn. If no human is free after 15 seconds we pair you with a bot, so you never sit in an empty lobby — bot games don't move your rating or pay coins.
Play by Invite — Two player hangman with someone you know. Generate a 6-character invite code, share it, and your friend joins your private match. Codes last a day.
Word of the Day — One word per language, the same for every player worldwide, set at 00:00 UTC. Guess the word, build a daily streak, and see how many people are on it today. It never costs a life.

Every wrong letter pushes the scene further:

★ Space — an astronaut's oxygen runs out
★ Ship — the water keeps rising
★ Fire — the floors collapse one by one

❤️ LIVES, COINS AND HINTS
You hold 5 lives. A solo loss costs one, an online match costs one, the daily challenge costs nothing. One life returns every 3 hours on its own, timed on our servers. Or watch an optional short video for a life.
Coins pay for hints. A hint costs 5 coins and uncovers one unguessed letter — solo only, since both players in a 1v1 duel see the same board. Solo wins pay 3 coins, the daily pays 3, achievements pay 10 to 200.
🌍 20 LANGUAGES
English, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Italian, Indonesian, Swahili, Vietnamese, Filipino, Persian, Urdu, Korean, Hausa and Yoruba.
More than 11,000 words in total, with native on-screen keyboards for Latin, Cyrillic, Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Korean Hangul. Right-to-left layouts are fully supported, Turkish dotted and dotless i are handled correctly, and Korean words break into jamo so every letter is typable. Quiet vocabulary and spelling practice if you're learning a language.
🏆 RANKED PLAY AND LEADERBOARDS
Every human-versus-human match moves your rating (standard Elo, starting at 1000), and the result screen shows the points won or lost. Weekly and all-time leaderboards rank the top 50 by wins, refreshed hourly. Ten achievements track milestones, from your first win to 100 solo wins and 7-day streaks.
🛡️ FAIR PLAY
Multiplayer is server-authoritative. The secret word sits where no player's device can read it, every guess is checked on the server, and coins, lives and ratings can't be written by the app. Words are screened for profanity first.
🔒 PRIVACY, ADS AND PURCHASES
Play anonymously — no sign-up, no email, no personal details. Sign in with Google only if you want your rank, achievements and ad-free unlock tied to your account. Delete your account and its data from inside the app any time.
Ads are one banner plus optional rewarded videos you watch for an extra life. No interstitials, no ad on launch.
Optional in-app purchases:
• Remove Ads — one-time purchase, hides the banner and every rewarded-ad button
• Coin packs — 100, 500 or 1,200 coins for hints, if you'd rather not earn them
