FamSignal is a family safety app that helps parents see their child's location updates and device status with open pairing.
WHAT IT OFFERS:
• Location and updates: See the last reported location of your child's device on a map. The time and approximate accuracy of the location are clearly shown; previous locations are not presented as live.
• SOS notification: Receive notifications when your child sends an SOS from the app and view their current location information.
• Safety check: Send the question "Are you safe?"; your child will respond with a single touch.
• Device status: See battery level, connection type, permission status, and last update time. Be notified when a connection is lost for an extended period.
• Family management: Invite a second parent and manage child devices supported by your plan.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Create your parent account.
2. Turn on "This is my child's device" on the child's device.
3. Pair the two devices with a one-time code. 4. Clearly approve the necessary location permissions on the child's device.
When protection mode is active on Android, FamSinyal displays a persistent notification clearly indicating the app and location sharing. The app does not have a hidden or icon-less operating mode. The data shared on the child's device can be seen and the pairing can be unpaired.
OUR PRIVACY POLICY
• We do not read message, call, contact, microphone, or camera content.
• We do not use or sell location data for advertising targeting purposes.
• We limit data to the scope and duration necessary for the service.
• You can access account and data deletion flow from within the app.
The frequency of location updates may vary depending on device permissions, internet connection, battery saving, and operating system conditions. FamSinyal is not an emergency service and does not replace 112.
FamSinyal may offer monthly and annual auto-renewing subscription options. The current price, period, renewal, and cancellation conditions are displayed on the purchase screen in your store's local currency.
