About this app

Keep the Android phone you know. Elsie replaces a complicated home screen with big, clearly labeled buttons designed for older adults and people with low vision.

Nine large buttons for everyday tasks: Phone, Text, Camera, Magnifier, Favorites, Meds, Flashlight, Web, and Say a Command. Turn any of them off, or add Contacts, Maps, Email, Photos, YouTube and Calculator, in Settings.

Favorites: tap a photo to call the people who matter most.
Meds: daily medication reminders with Taken and Snooze buttons right on the notification.
Magnifier: full-screen zoom for small print, with a light for dim rooms.
Say a Command: "Call John", "Open Camera", "Flashlight on".
Weather at a glance, and a row of the apps you use most, with their real icons.
Long-press any button to hear its name read aloud. Follows your phone's dark mode.

All your existing apps and Android settings stay available, so you stay in control. Set Elsie as your home screen in one tap, and switch back any time in Settings. Your settings and favorites come with you when you move to a new phone.
