About this app

fanSync gives you the ability to control your AC ceiling fan with your Android device. You first must install a fanSync receiver into your ceiling fan, then download the fanSync app here in the Android store to your Android device.

Requirements: To install the fanSync application on your Android device, the device must be currently supported by the manufacturer and have BLE enabled. Your Android device must also be running Android 4.4 or newer. Installing the app requires an internet connection however using the app only requires BLE.

it's a little slow to load so it's faster to just get up or use the remote (which also has a slow response). this app should be a widget that is ready for you to use when you wake up your phone not something you have to load each and every time. also, it would be great if this app helped you program the remote and wall controls instead of the pattern of button pushing it is now.

APP is totally unusable on a Galaxy S8 Plus. Even if it finds the fan, It takes several multi taps of the screen to get the controls to come up. When they do, they stay on screen for a few seconds then it does a search again. and again, and again..... I agree with a few here that spending so much for a fan to get these issues is frustrating. Not to mention the wireless controller that came with the fan is also very spotty. Requiring multiple presses of a button to get what you want. I should have left the 3 speed pull chain fan that was there!!!

This would be a great app if it didn't keep crashing. When it doesn't crash it just takes too long to pull anything up. We got the app for the convenience of being able to control the fan with our phone, however the amount of time it takes the app to do anything removes any convenience from the equation.
