Im surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit against this company for false advertising. The fansync wifi connection feature simply doesn't work. It always times out and throws an error when I get to the portion of the setup where I log into my wifi SSID and the app says it's applying updates and setting everything up. My router is in the same room as the fan so it's not a signal issue. Completely useless app and feature that doesn't work.

poorly designed app.. the continue and other options overlay the home and back buttons on Android devices.... so 99% of the time you exit the app unable to connect to the fanmotion system, and if I do it won't connect to 2.4gz eero router so cannot finish setup. have uninstalled and reinstalled the App and have been turning off circuit breaker and back on to try to connect. pS I used to be a network engineer... this should be easy, like seeing up streaming tv , Roku, my appliances etc

Worked for about a week, now any attempt to reconnect the fan since it stopped responding in app fails even after resetting the device. Continuously broadcasts wifi access point, but can't connect with app. 🤷♂️ After another year of this not working (and only working for about a week) with so many other reports like this, it seems criminal. Don't waste money on Fanimation trash. Both this app and Bluetooth are rated the same... Buyer beware! Rubbish.
