About this app

Know what your ride should cost before you book or hail it.

FareGlobe estimates fares for every common way to get around: bikes, auto-rickshaws and tuk-tuks, hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, premium cars and metered city taxis. Pick your pickup and drop points and FareGlobe gets the real road distance and travel time from Google Maps, then shows a price range for each ride type side by side.

WHY FAREGLOBE
• Compare ride types at a glance, with Best price and Fastest badges
• Real road distance and live traffic from Google Maps
• Clear breakdown of every fare: fixed fare, per-km charge, waiting time, night surcharge, surge, booking fee, tolls and tax
• Local currency and units: kilometres, or miles in the US and UK
• Opens on your country automatically

14 COUNTRIES, LOCAL RIDE TYPES
India, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Kenya. Includes local favourites such as Auto, Tuk-tuk, Ojek, Boda Boda, Black Cab, Yellow Cab and Jumbo Taxi.

PLAN FOR REAL CONDITIONS
• Switch on night rates where the city charges them
• Slide the demand meter to see how surge changes the price
• Add tolls and parking
• Light, moderate or heavy traffic

ALWAYS UP TO DATE
Rates are updated remotely as tariffs change, so estimates stay current without an app update. You can also fine-tune any rate on your own phone.

A JOY TO USE
A hand-drawn animated city, your chosen vehicle driving along the road, a night sky when you ride late, and fares that roll into place.

FareGlobe gives estimates only. Actual fares depend on the operator, route, traffic, tolls and real-time demand. FareGlobe is not affiliated with any taxi or ride-hailing company.
