I have only been playing for a few days, but it feels like it ALMOST has it all put together. There are all sorts of little side quests, some of which are optional. The esthetic is pretty good - they were going for a Kawaii Pokémon vibe, and it works. I have not run across any ads at all, which is nice. I love the randomness of the Evolve mechanic. Unfortunately, after several hours, I have STILL not once seen the game play featured in the trailers. It's missing other important parts, too.

no ai, no invasive ads (so far), charming art style! Really, what more could you ask for? I know the ads for it on other apps can be a little much, and might seem to out people off of the game, but trust me when I say it is 100% worth the download. I haven't even noticed any pay-to-win mechanics! I'm already having a lot of fun collecting the critters! o7 to the devs and everyone on the team, this might be one of the best mobile games I've ever played!

I have 2 stars instead of one because the game is KIND of similar to tower defense type gameplay, but it is not like the ads in any other aspect! I loved playing the ad and merging the critters, but when I started playing the game, it had none of it. You just place random critters you get and watch them shoot things. there's nothing you can do other than that. maybe I need to get further in the game,, but why would I want to get further if the game isn't even what I expect at the start??
