About this app

FarmTrace is a mobile app for ALL farmers to manage agricultural land directly in the field — no internet required, no account, no cloud subscription.

FIELDS ON MAP
Draw field boundaries on the map or import coordinates from Romanian CF land registry documents (photo → OCR → Stereo70 to WGS84 conversion). Fields appear color-coded: gold for cereal, green for orchard, blue for mixed.

CROP ZONES
Divide a field into proportional crop zones — wheat, corn, sunflower, or any crop. Each zone shows its automatically calculated area in hectares.

ORCHARDS & TREES
Place individual trees on the map via GPS with species, variety, planting year and group tag. Trees appear as colored dots on the map at high zoom.

TREATMENT JOURNAL
Log treatments with product, dose, date and multiple targets: a whole field, a crop zone, a species, a tree group, or an individual tree. Treatment history is instantly available for any entity.

100% ON-DEVICE DATA
All data is saved locally in a single farmtrace.json file. No server, no account, no cloud sync. The file can be exported via WhatsApp, email or Google Drive and re-imported on any device.

AUTO-BACKUP
On every save, the app automatically keeps the last 5 backups in the Documents/FarmTrace/ folder, accessible from the Files app or via USB.

Purchases are processed through Google Play. Existing data is never locked or deleted on downgrade — only new entity creation is restricted.
