Which peak is that? Point your phone and FarSights tells you.

FarSights is an app for the mountains: it names the peaks you see on the horizon, saves your places and guides you to them, even with no signal.

AR VIEW: WHICH PEAK IS WHICH
• Draws the real terrain in front of you and shows the name and height of every peak.
• Camera mode: overlays the names on the landscape.
• Tells visible peaks apart from those hidden behind another mountain.
• Search for a peak by name and the view turns towards it.
• Shows your tracks and places, the sun, the moon and nearby buildings over the terrain.

COMPASS TO YOUR PLACES
• Point your phone and see in which direction and how far away your saved places are.
• Guide mode: takes you to the destination you choose.

MAP, TRACKS AND ROUTES
• Google map, topographic map and orthophoto from IGN (Spain), and OpenTopoMap.
• Import GPX and KML tracks, also via "Open with", with elevation profile and slopes.
• Plan routes in the editor and record them even with the screen off.
• Follow a track with battery saver mode.
• Search for peaks by name in OpenStreetMap.

NO SIGNAL
• Download map and terrain areas to use the map and the AR view offline.

FOR EMERGENCIES
• "My position": your coordinates (degrees, DMS and UTM), altitude and accuracy, ready to share or to call 112.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• No account and no ads. Your places and tracks stay only on your phone.
• Organise your places in categories and export or share them whenever you like.
• In English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German.

What’s new

The app is smaller and starts a little faster. If your phone closes FarSights while you're recording or following a route, the "Recording" notification comes back when you reopen it and recording continues with the screen off.
