just downloaded it -- haven't been hit with an ad yet, and it really is an excellent learning tool. I appreciate being able to customize things like how many cards are im the deck, when a reshuffle happens, choosing the size of my bankroll, if the table has soft 17s, etc. for additional reference: I deal blackjack for work, but never play -- so this is really fun for me to learn the math/card-counting side!

UPDATE! Ads have absolutely RUINED this game! The ads are wayyyyy too long and wayyyyy too often!! You should NEVER spend more time waiting on ads than playing the game. Original review: Potentially great app but....they REALLY need to adjust their odds because they are way off. Just one example of many, you will almost always bust with a 15 or 16, but the dealer will almost always turn its 15 or 16 into a 19, 20, 21. It's super unrealistic. Please fix, then will be 5 stars.

After playing hours of this, it's pretty obvious that it has an algorithm built-in that anticipates your basic strategy moves, and lays out specific cards for the dealer, in certain situations, to ensure you will lose the hand. Since there is no true money on the line, I assume it's so that someone with experience counting doesn't just go in and crush the game. I'm an experienced card player, and this app just doesn't flow like a true, realistic game. However, it is pretty good for practice.
