About this app
Make lists of your favorite things. Discover what's worth your time from people you trust.
fav.ing is the social list-making app for movies, books, restaurants, music, places, products, and more. Real recommendations from real people. Not algorithmic noise. Not AI slop.
CURATE WHAT YOU LOVE
Build lists for any passion — your top albums of the year, the restaurants you keep going back to, books you can't stop thinking about, the gear you actually use. Paste a link to an article or a product page and fav.ing fills in the details for you. Share lists publicly, or keep them private just for you.
FIND WHAT'S ACTUALLY WORTH YOUR TIME
Follow friends and tastemakers whose taste you trust. Browse trending lists from the fav.ing community. React to every item — thumbs up, thumbs down, or mark it done once you've watched, read, or tried it. See what real people are loving right now — not what an algorithm thinks will keep you scrolling.
ASK YOUR PEOPLE
Mark a list Open to Suggestions and let friends add the picks you're missing. Share your Go-To Pros — the dentist, mechanic, or barber you'd send anyone to.
TRACK YOUR CURRENT FAVORITES
Pick your one favorite per category — favorite restaurant, favorite movie this year, favorite product you'd recommend to anyone. Add to your Current Favorites from anywhere in the app. Watch your taste evolve over time. See what your friends are obsessed with right now.
BOOKMARK ANYTHING
Save anything from anywhere on the web. Sort it into collections for what you want to watch, read, eat, or try. Never lose a great find again.
EARN FROM WHAT YOU SHARE
When your lists include products people actually buy, you can earn a commission on purchases — books from your reading list, gear from your kit, products from your everyday rotation. Browse partner stores right in the app and add products straight to your lists. Already an Amazon Associate? Add your own Associates ID and Amazon pays you directly. Earn is available on the Earn plan or by inviting friends. Affiliate links are clearly disclosed everywhere they appear, so your followers always know what they're clicking.
