About this game

Feather Rush is a tap-to-reveal puzzle grid where chickens stand in for mines. You're working a board of hidden tiles, trying to hit a score target before the timer runs out. Some tiles are empty and worth a small bump. Some hide coins, which jump your score in big chunks. Some hide chickens, and chickens are bad news — they scatter your points and waste your moves. Numbered tiles tell you how many chickens are sitting in the eight cells around them, so you spend a lot of time triangulating: this one says 2, that one says 1, the corner nobody's flipped yet is probably the safe one.

The pressure here is the timer. Classic minesweeper lets you sit and stare at a board for as long as you need. Feather Rush gives you about two minutes per mission and a score floor that grows with each level. Mission 1 asks for 600 points, which is easy enough that the game lets you find your footing. By the time you're a few levels in, you're calculating risk versus reward on every flip — is it worth chasing a number cluster when the clock is burning, or do I just gamble on the next row and hope.

The art softens what's underneath. Bright cartoon palette, blue sky, urban street backdrops, a winking rooster mascot on every mission card. The chickens you discover have little expressions. The coins jingle in. It's cute enough that losing doesn't sting too much, which is probably the point.

The achievement structure pulls you in different directions on the same board. Mine Whisperer wants you to clear the grid clean, no chickens hit. Tactical Mind wants you to flag every chicken correctly before winning. Feather Speed wants the win with thirty seconds still on the clock. So you're not optimizing one variable — you can replay the same mission with a different goal in mind and it genuinely changes how you play it.

The daily bonus is a four-by-four tic-tac-toe pull against the house. You're X, the house is O, three in a row in any line, you take the pot. It's a quick palate cleanser between missions and a reason to come back daily.

Coins from missions feed a stats panel that tracks total score, average score, wins versus losses, and games played. There's an Achievements tab that ledgers the named goals — First Flight, Gold Rush, On Fire, Veteran. The progression isn't aggressive; it just sits there as a quiet record of what you've done. Levels unlock in order, so you can see the road ahead, and you can see what's still locked.

What it feels closest to is minesweeper that learned to be friendly, with a score target and a clock stapled on. The friendliness is real — the visuals don't lie. The underlying puzzle is still honest minesweeper deduction, with all the gambling that implies when the timer is shrinking and you've still got rows of unflipped tiles staring back at you.
