I've had another bird camera which had fewer features that were behind a pay wall, such as identifying birds and saving photos. You can't do much with this camera without paying. Also wildly annoying, I get a notification that there's a visitor, so I click on it, and it takes me to notifications instead of the picture of the bird. So every single time there's a photo I have to wait for the notifications to load, tell me there's no new notification, then go back go my feed so I can see the Pic???

First off, the birdfeeder itself works great. I've had mine just over a year and the solar panels keep it charged without any obvious battery degradation. Pictures are clear and it maintains its WiFi connection from a pretty good distance. That's all great. But the app could really use some work. Basic navigation is a chore. Why doesn't the app use the Android back gesture? Second biggest gripe is notifications. I don't need a notification every single time a bird is on my feeder.

I have had a couple seed feeders for a while and love them! The picture quality is top-notch and captures birds in flight, which is very cool! I advise you to place your feeder somewhere where squirrels can't gain access because I found that if I don't keep the feeder stocked, they could raise havoc with the plastic openings at the bottom of the tubes. These and the humming bird feeders make wonderful gifts for any occasion. Thank you, FeatherSnap, for your commitment to quality.
