Was very excited about Federa. I downloaded the app and had lots of hopes on purchasing a home. I made many bids and in a few I had won the bids and when I crossed reference to the county auction I was the higher bidder. When speaking with Federa customer service there was always a reason why I did not win. Weather the seller didn't accept my offers or the property had many liens and federa honor clean tittle. What bothered me was the effort and the time it took for my refund.

Awful business practices. I won two bids (10/25/2024 & 10/29/2024) and both auctions were cancelled after it closed. I texted nearly everyday since if there was an acceptance decision from the seller, and the bot responded with there has not been an acceptance decision. It never said it was cancelled. I had money tied up in the bids. Today I spoke with Emma who said there must be a technical issue with the system and that's why I wasn't notified of the cancellation. I'm asking for a refund.

This is basically Fraud, they take large deposits in order to participate in the auctions and promise a full refund if you dont win a bid and then never send it. They first told me 30 days. then they keep saying a few more days but nothing. They have real homes listed but they hold onto deposits. It seems to be a common complaint. Beware.
