Does 73°F — or 23°C — mean anything to you?

For most people, not much. But "3° colder than yesterday" lands immediately — because you felt yesterday.

FeelsLike tells you the weather using that reference point.


■ Compared to yesterday

Under the current temperature, one line: "2° warmer than yesterday". Below that, today's forecast drawn on top of yesterday's actual temperature, so you can see how the whole day differs at a glance.


■ What to wear

Clothing suggestions based on how it actually feels, not just the number.

· Feels 91°F / 33°C and up — light breathable fabrics, a hat
· Feels 73–81°F / 23–27°C — t-shirt, light shirt, cotton pants
· Feels 54–61°F / 12–16°C — jacket, hoodie
· Feels below 23°F / -5°C — heavy coat, gloves, winter boots

Plus an adjustment against yesterday: "one more layer than you wore yesterday". Telling you to wear a knit sweater can be wrong if we don't know your wardrobe — but one more layer than yesterday is always right.

If the temperature will swing later, we say so in advance. In extreme heat or cold, safety advice comes before clothing advice.


■ We publish our own accuracy

"They said it would rain and it didn't." Everyone has been there.

FeelsLike shows how well this app's forecast did over the last 30 days: average error of the one-day-ahead temperature forecast, the share within a few degrees, and how often rain forecasts actually verified.

We show the unflattering numbers too. Hiding them would give you no reason to trust the rest.

· Air quality PM10 / PM2.5, compared to yesterday
· Humidity, wind, sunrise and sunset
· Rain — probability and expected amount for the hours that are left

You don't need to open the app. "3° colder than yesterday" is enough to decide what to wear. Follows light and dark mode.


■ Things we were careful about

· No interstitial ads — just one banner at the bottom
· No stale numbers like "84% chance today" that include hours already gone. Everything is based on the hours remaining
· If we can't find your location we tell you, instead of quietly showing another city
· Readable type sizes and contrast


■ About the data

Weather data comes from Open-Meteo. Yesterday's values are observation-based reanalysis; today and later are forecasts. The accuracy scoreboard grades the same forecast model this app displays.

Location permission is used only to show weather where you are, and the app works without it.

Units follow your device: °F, mph and inches on US devices, °C, m/s and mm everywhere else.
