About this app

Parrot is a minimalist random word generator designed to be used in brainstorming sessions. You can choose the number of words generated, which will be remembered between sessions in case your brainstorming technique focus on a specific number. The words available are chosen to have lots of associations to keep the creative juices flowing. English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Hindi are supported. You can also open a .txt file with your own list of words (the words should be comma or space separated). And in case you want to use those words somewhere you can copy them with a long press. People have used this app for improving their rapping improvisation skills, generating ideas for new art projects, getting out of writer's block and more, what are you going to do?

Ratings and reviews

Like the options for multiple words or just one. It helps stimulate my imagination. Also like the variety of languages available which adds to the fun.

Random word generator user interface works well, but after a few weeks I not only found that single words repeated, I found that I was constantly getting the same word pairs over amd over. Needs more words and to not make the specific word pairs repeat.

Ads cover a quarter of the screen, making the app impossible to use. Does not register taps on the screen or anything.
