About this app

The “Environmental World” project combines two areas of citizen science: observing seasonal changes in nature and collecting field materials for scientific research. The appearance of leaves and the end of leaf fall, the flowering of trees and shrubs, the arrival of birds and the appearance of mushrooms, the first snow and the last frost are just a small part of the many seasonal phenomena in nature that are being observed. Joining the project is simple - read the methodology, select an observation object, or create a route and go outside, armed with a smartphone. Now you don’t have to have a notepad and pen with you – just a mobile application that allows you to get acquainted with the methodology and add new observations both online and offline.
In the “Collection of Applications” section, a researcher can leave a request to collect the necessary material or data, and any interested person, be it a scientist or a volunteer, can see the request and collect what is required to conduct research. Or, on the contrary, you can offer your help in collecting material in your place of residence, travel or expedition.
