IMPORTANT Installation Note: The stock numeric keypad on some Samsung and LGE devices does not include a decimal, which makes FermCalc almost impossible to use. The workaround is to go to Google Play and install the Google Keyboard or some other third-party keyboard. After you install the new keyboard, go to Settings > Language and Input, and set the new keyboard as the default keyboard. After following these steps your numeric keypad should include a decimal.

This is a good app, and covers all basics. Why isn't there an option to have the default temps in C°, weight in kilos, etc.? Every time I change it, it goes right back to the American standard, and it's quite frustrating.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. If you go to Settings and change the Unit System to Metric, it should save that setting. If that doesn't work, contact me at gross@pdq.net. Thanks, Steve.

simple to use, but too generic. was hoping for more detailed inputs, like combining multiple sweeteners. also, fg calc is unreliable because it completely depends on the attenuation of each strain of yeast.

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding use of multiple sweeteners, could you be more specific as to which calculator you would like to see this included? Also, regarding your assertion that "fg calc is unreliable...", could please provide a technical reference supporting your assertion? Please reply to me directly at gross@pdq.net. Thank you.

Fantastic, really cracking app. Was looking to convert Hydrometer readings and Refractometer readings into ABV. Came to this just to convert refractive indices and found it had the full calculator. Brilliant. Needs a donate button! No ads, just works. Restores my faith in humanity
