The Official App for the Great Taste of the Midwest, one of the premier beer festivals in the United States. On the second Saturday in August, almost 200 brewpubs and microbreweries from the Midwest come to beautiful Olin-Turville Park overlooking lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin, to share beer and good times with six thousand patrons.

Use this handy app to find and rate your favorite beers!

Sort and filter by brewery, beer name, beer style, special tapping times, real ales, and more.

Keep track of the beers you want to try with the handy to-do list. Show beer locations on the embedded map of the grounds.

Take notes and share your ratings and notes.

Continuously updated for the most complete and accurate information on Fest day.

Ratings and reviews

The day the app gets updated is the best day of the week. Love this app, great way to get excited for Great Taste and pretend to formulate a game plan. (We know it gets tossed after the first hour...) One suggestion: Collapsible lists, especially in the Beer tab. Once I've scrolled through and marked all my IPAs, it would be nice not to have to scroll through them when I open the app later to look at stouts.

This app could be so much better. Navigation is clunky. If you search & hit 'back' to hide the keyboard, you lose the search. Fast scroll on Beers/Breweries doesn't have feedback. Usually you show what letter the user is on. It'd be cool if you could copy the beer description TextView so could share to your buddy a beer that sounds good. Untappd integration would really set this app over the top. If beers had a check-in button could go back & forth from GTMW/UT & sort by UT beer ratings

Sorry but the android app has issues. Looking up Breweries. It shows nothing for Stevens Point (they do come up when looking for a stout). If you type Coconut in under the Name search, not one coconut shows up. But there is a bunch when you look up coconut under Style. Not ready for prime time.
