About this app

SIPEI is the system used by schools that monitor students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). The educational psychologist conducts the pedagogical assessment and planning, the teacher records what happened in class, and the family monitors the progress in clear Portuguese.

SIPEI is an educational app for school use. It is not a health or research app: it does not diagnose, provide medical advice, or conduct studies, clinical trials, or patient communities.

The app is for those who are part of a school that uses SIPEI: the account is created by the school, by invitation. To learn more beforehand, tap "Explore the demo" on the first screen and enter the Model School, which only has fictitious data.

FOR THE TEACHER
• Daily Checklist: each student's activities, with the level of support recorded in just a few taps.

• If the internet goes down during class, what you recorded is saved on the device and sent when the connection returns.

• "How to support": PEI strategies, allergies, and the student's emergency contact information when you need it.

FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST
• The entire school at your fingertips: students, pedagogical assessments, and PEIs.

• Goals, strategies, and the progress of each student.

FOR THE COORDINATION
• Students, classes, and school staff, with invitations via link.

• Monitoring of what has been recorded in each class.

FOR THE FAMILY
• Your child's progress explained in clear Portuguese, without jargon.

• Homework and communication with the school.

PRIVACY
Each school's data is kept separate from others, and each person only sees what their role in the school allows. You can request the deletion of your account within the app, in Your Account.
