About this game

Root Echo is an arcade descent game where you control a glowing root spirit burrowing through layered underground worlds.

Steer left and right by touching the screen. Your root descends automatically through five distinct soil layers, each with its own atmosphere and color palette. The deeper you go, the faster and more dangerous the journey becomes.

Collect water drops for points and rare crystals for big scores. Build combo streaks by collecting without getting hit. The higher your combo, the more bonus points you earn.

Watch out for hazards along the way. Rocks and burrowing worms will cost you a life. Toxic bubbles slow you down and break your momentum. You start with three lives, so plan your path carefully.

Five power-ups can appear as glowing orbs during your descent:
- Shield absorbs one hit from any hazard
- Magnet pulls nearby collectibles toward you
- Time Warp slows everything down for easier navigation
- Golden Touch doubles all points you earn
- Heart grants an extra life when you need it most

Earn coins from every run based on your score. Spend coins in the shop to start each run with power-ups already equipped. Mix and match to find your ideal loadout.
